KPK Explores Mbak Ita's Allegation Of Asking For Additional Parts Of The Pungut Wage To The Head Of The Semarang City Bapenda
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that the Mayor of Semarang, Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu, asked for additional levies from his subordinates. This allegation was investigated from six witnesses, one of whom was the Head of the Semarang City Bapenda, Indriyasari, who was questioned on Friday, October 25 yesterday.
"The witnesses were all present and the mayor investigated the process of requesting additional levies from wages by the mayor to the Head of Bapenda," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters, Saturday, October 26.
Apart from Indriyasari, Tessa said that other witnesses who were also examined were BS, YBA, BF, TTS, and LM. Meanwhile, from the information obtained, they were Budi Susilo as a former employee of PT Chimarder777; Yunianto Budi Aristya and Titik Tri Sulistyaningsih as BPBJ Semarang City Secretariat; Binawan Febrianto as Head of Regional Data Collection and Tax Registration for Bapenda Semarang City; and Lusyatie Martiana as civil servant (PNS) of the Semarang City Bapenda.
In addition, Tessa said the witness was also questioned about the auction process allegedly won by the suspect in this case. "The examination was carried out at the Semarang Polrestabes," said a spokesman with the investigator's background.

Previously reported, the KPK began investigating three alleged corruption crimes within the Semarang City Government (Pemkot). The details are the procurement of goods and services within the Semarang City Government in 2023-2024, the alleged extortion of civil servants related to incentives for collecting taxes and levies in the Semarang City area, as well as the alleged receipt of gratuities in 2023-2024.
Searches have been carried out in various locations such as in the cities of Semarang, Kudus, Salatiga, and others. From there, documents up to Rp1 billion and 9,650 euros were found as well as dozens of watches allegedly related to the case.
In this case, four people have been prevented from leaving the country for six months. They are Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu or Mbak Ita who is the Mayor of Semarang, Chairman of Commission D of the Central Java DPRD who is also the husband of Mbak Ita, Alwin Basri; Chairman of the Association of Indonesian National Construction Implementers (Gapensi) Semarang City, Martono; and Rahmat Djangkar who is a private party.
