Israel Declares Attack On Iran's Missile Manufacturing Facility Ends, Netanyahu Leads Security Meeting

JAKARTA - The Israeli military said it had completed targeted airstrikes against military targets in Iran.

"The reply attack has been completed and the mission has been fulfilled," the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said.

"Our plane has returned home safely," added the IDF.

The Israeli Air Force attacked a missile manufacturing facility that it said was being used to produce missiles Iran fired at Israel over the past year.

The Israeli military is also attacking a series of Iranian surface-to-air missiles and additional air capabilities, which are meant to limit the freedom of Israeli air operations in Iran.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu conducted an assessment of the security situation of the Kirya military base in Tel Aviv, according to the prime minister's office.

Those present included Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Israeli Defense Force chief of staff and chief intelligence agency Mossad and Shin Bet.

Netanyahu was in a bunker on a military base Saturday morning during an attack in Iran.
