DKI Jakarta KPU Again Set A Panelist For Second Debate
JAKARTA - The Jakarta General Election Commission (DKI) has again set a panelist in accordance with the theme for the second phase of the debate on the selection of candidates for governor and deputy governor of DKI Jakarta on October 27, 2024. This is like the inaugural debate three weeks ago.
"In principle, they consist of experts or experts in their respective fields, according to the themes raised," said Head of the DKI Jakarta KPU Data and Information Division, Fahmi Ziryptaah, quoting Antara.
The second debate will carry the theme "Economics and Social Welfare" with six subthemes, namely integrated infrastructure and excellent basic services, education and health, then handling social inequality, development of the digital economy and MSMEs, then, tourism and the creative economy as well as inflation of basic commodities.
The seven panelists in the second debate were Taufiq F. Pasiak, Tauhid Ahmad, Timboel Siregar, Dimas Oky Nugroho, Arif Satria, Felicia Putri Tjiasaka, and M. Imdadun Rahmat, as conveyed by the Head of the Educational Socialization Division for Voters and Public Relations of the DKI Jakarta KPU Astri Megatari on different occasions.
Meanwhile, moderators in the debate are presenters Frisca Clarissa and Rivana Pratiwi.
Then, for the debate segment, it will be the same as the first debate. Segment 1 is the delivery of the vision and mission of the program for each pair of candidates (paslon) for governor and deputy governor, segments 2 and 3 namely deepening the vision and mission by moderators, then segments 4 and 5 namely asking questions between candidate pairs, and segment 6 delivering the closing statements of each candidate pair.

The DKI KPU then announced the location of the second DKI 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) to move from the original at the Ecovention, Ancol, North Jakarta, to the Beach City International Stadium, Ancol. This move was due to a music festival less than one kilometer (km) from the original debate location.
However, the timing of the debate will be the same as before, namely at 19.00 WIB and lasts for 150 minutes. The television stations that organize the debate are TVRI, CNN Indonesia, Kompas TV, and BTV.
The debate was followed by candidate pair governor and deputy governor number 1 Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO), candidate pair number 2 Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (Dharma-Kun) and candidate pair number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Doel).
