Courtois And Rodrygo Confirmed Absen At El Clasico
JAKARTA - Thibaut Courtois has been confirmed absent from El Clasico, Real Madrid vs Barcelona, at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, October 27, 2024, early morning WIB.
The addict's injury to his left leg turned out to recur. According to ESPN sources, Courtois is estimated to take three to four weeks to recover.
The Real Madrid goalkeeper initially suffered an injury while playing a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid on September 29, 2024.

Sources have also told ESPN that Courtois will miss El Clasico against Barca as well as the match against Valencia and AC Milan.
It seems very unlikely he will be able to return to fitness in time to play in the match against Osasuna (9 November 2024) even though it will depend on the speed of recovery.
Actually, there is a chance for Courtois to recover faster than expected. You see, Real Madrid had a good understanding of the type of injury after experiencing it twice last season.
Apart from Courtois, Rodrygo was also injured in the match against Dortmund. The Brazilian national team player was replaced in the second half due to a hamstring problem.
"(Rodrygo) was diagnosed with a muscle injury to the right femoralis bisep," reads Real's statement.
Rodrygo is expected to be absent for between 15 and 20 days.
Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti's team are now only three points behind Barcelona at the top of La Liga 2024/2025.
