AGO Will Summon 3 Supreme Court Justices Cassation Ronald Tannur
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) revealed that the former Kabadiklat Kumdil of the Supreme Court (MA) Zarof Ricar, who is a suspect in the alleged bribery conspiracy, had not yet handed over bribes to Supreme Court Justices who handled Ronald Tannur's appeal.
Director of Investigation at Jampidsus Attorney General's Office Abdul Qohar explained that at first, suspect LR as lawyer Ronald Tannur asked ZR for ZR's help to smooth out his client's cassation decision to be free from punishment.
LR then gave Rp5 billion to ZR, which was based on the records concerned, aimed at three Supreme Court Justices with the initials S, A, and S. ZR was promised a salary of Rp1 billion.
From the results of a search at ZR's house in the Senayan area, South Jakarta, it was found that the money had not been given to the three Supreme Court justices.
"It turns out, the money is still in the envelope. It's still at ZR's house. There is an evil conspiracy here to bribe the judge so that the case is free, but the money hasn't been there yet," he said, Friday, October 25.
As for ZR's confession, he continued, the suspect revealed that he had communicated with the judges. In addition, he also admitted that the money was only given by LR in October.
Regarding these statements, said Qohar, investigators will further investigate them.
The AGO emphasized that it is possible that investigators will examine the three Supreme Court justices.
"Everything involved will definitely be called to find a bright spot," he said.
