Returning To Jakarta, The Corrs Will Bring A Special List Of Fan Requests

JAKARTA - In less than two years, The Corrs will return to Indonesia to greet their fans through a performance titled The Corrs From Jakarta with Love which will be held at the Beach City International Stadium (BCIS), North Jakarta on February 8, 2025.

The concert, which was held by Ravel Entertainment as the promoter with TipTip as the co-promotor, was confirmed to be different from their last show in Jakarta on October 18 last year.

Krisna W. Gunawan as the Media Relations Ravel Entertainment said that Andrea (main vocals, mandolin, ukulele), Sharon (biola, keyboard, vocals), Caroline (drums, percussion, piano, vocals) and Jim (guitar, piano, keyboard, vocals) will bring a special setlist.

"If we have thought about a setlist, if we want something different. If for example we don't give something different, maybe the audience will think 'ah, at least'," Krisna said at a press conference in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday, October 25.

For the songs that are setlisted, there are also rare songs that they think may be less commercial, but for fans they may be attached to their hearts. So we make sure that by 2025, The Corrs will bring an unusual setlist, in contrast to their performances everywhere," he continued.

Krisna said the setlist presented by The Corrs was a special request from fans in Indonesia.

The list that was played was a special request from fans and promoters. The list we submitted has been discussed with The Corrs, and they agreed. So you could say concerts in 2025 are concerts for fans," he said.

Meanwhile, Kevin Christian as CEO Office of TipTip said that his party's involvement in this concert was to fully support Indonesia's position as a leading concert destination in the Southeast Asia region.

"In my opinion, The Corrs is very legendary, whose songs must have been ringing in the ears of all of us," said Kevin.

"We want to provide the best experience for fans, from purchasing tickets to concert days. We believe that this collaboration will further strengthen Indonesia's position as a center for international concert destinations in Southeast Asia," he added.

Meanwhile, tickets for The Corrs From Jakarta with Love will soon be available on the official website www.thecorrsjkt.com on October 30, 2024 at 13:00 WIB. Ticket prices range from IDR 1 million to IDR 4.5 million.
