League 1 2024/2025 Results: Dewa United Beat Semen Padang 8-1

JAKARTA - Semen Padang received bitter results during the ninth week of Liga 1 2024/2025. Menjamu Dewa United at the H Agus Salim Stadium on Friday, October 25, 2024, afternoon WIB, the hosts lost 1-8 to the visitors.

Dewa United's status as a visiting team did not make them shrink their guts. The Dewa's squad immediately went crazy from kick-off through a 2-0 advantage in a fast tempo.

Egy Maulana left Semen Padang 0-2 behind through a brace. The 24-year-old scored in the third and sixth minutes.

Egy scored the first goal with a header after using Ricky Kambuaya's pass. Then, the second goal was scored with a left foot after receiving Alexis Messidoro's pass.

In the first round, the dominance of Dewa United was unable to be matched by the host. Kabau Sirah troops missed twice again.

Egy posted a hat trick with a goal in the 39th minute. Meanwhile, Dewa United's fourth goal was scored with a penalty from Alex Ferreira which also made the score 4-0 last until halftime.

Continuing to the second half, Semen Padang had a chance to reduce the gap to 1-4. Brian Fatari scored an own goal in the 53rd minute.

This result made Dewa United move up to 10th in the League 1 standings with 11 points from nine matches. Meanwhile, Semen Padang was at the bottom of the standings with only four points from the same number of matches.
