Unite Culture In Various Nadas, Concert Titled Indonesian Symphony Accompanied By Twilite Orchestra And Addie MS
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Symphony Concert will be held in Ciputra Artpreneur, South Jakarta on Saturday, November 9, 2024. In addition to the commemoration of Heroes' Day on November 10, this concert was held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Indonesian Bishops' Conference (KWI).
The Indonesian Symphony Concert with the theme "Ragam Nada One Nation" will certainly present interesting musical works because it involves Twilite Orchestra and Addie MS as Indonesian Simphony Music Director and orchestral conductors.
Chairman of the Indonesian Symphony Concert Committee, Ferdie Soethiono, said the concert involved Twilite Orchestra and Addie MS as Music Director of Simphony Indonesia and conductors of the orchestra.
According to him, top musicians and artists will also appear in the concert, such as Judika, Lea Simanjuntak, Olivia Pardede, Brisia Jodie and Twilite Chorus.
"The musicians will perform songs from various regions in Indonesia as well as interfaith music, celebrating the diversity of the nation through harmonious tones and movements," said Ferdie recently in Jakarta.

Ferdie said the concert event was inspired by the spirit of Indonesian diversity as a large and rich nation of ethnicity, culture, religion, but still one.
Moreover, the leader of the World Catholics, Pope Francis, during his academic visit to Indonesia last September, was present to bring a message of peace and love in a pluralistic society, such as Indonesia.
"Indonesia's symphony is present as a symbol of unity in the midst of ethnic, ethnic and religious diversity, presenting harmony through music and art," he said.
He emphasized that this concert was not commercial or "profit-oriented". Therefore, his party does not sell tickets like concerts in general.
"On the other hand, we use an invitation and donation system. This event is not only a celebration, but also a tangible form of our support for the spirit of unity of the Indonesian people. The symphony of Indonesia focuses on diversity that unites, not only in the context of Catholicism, but in a wider spectrum, embracing all groups in Indonesia," he said.
He also targeted the number of spectators at the charity concert to reach 1,100 people, most of whom were attended by Catholics.
"Although this event is internal, we are happy to welcome the public in general to attend to feel the beauty of harmony that is established through music and dance," said Ferdie.
Meanwhile, musician Addie MS appreciated the Indonesian Symphony concert held by KWI and BPN PKKI.
