Son Ye Jin And Ji Chang Wook Get Offers For Remake Drama, Untold Scandal
JAKARTA - Two Korean hit actors, Son Ye Jin and Ji Chang Wook received a new drama offer entitled Scandal. This drama is a remake of the film Untold Scandal which aired in 2003.
This drama will be remake by Netflix with the title Scandal series. Son Ye Jin and Ji Chang Wook's agency responded separately.
"Son Ye Jin received a Scandal drama offer from Netflix and is reviewing his offer," said MSteam Entertainment as the agency.
"It's true that he got the drama offer," said Spring Company as Ji Chang Wook's agency.
Untold Scandal merupakan film Korea yang diadaptasi dari novel Prancis berjudul Dangerous Liaisons. Pada versi Korea-nya film ini dibuat dengan latar dyna Joseon.

The film tells the story of Madam Jo, a respectful wife but she secretly hates where she lives. Madam Jo has a relationship with many men. On the other hand there is Jo Won, a man who is educated and likes to approach many women.
Madam Jo is Jo Won's first love and they are brought together at an event. They both hide their feelings and Madam Jo deliberately brings Jo Won closer to So Ok who will be her husband's concubine.
This series will be directed by Jung Ji Woo who has worked on Eungyo, Heart Blackened, Tune in for Love andiri.
If Son Ye Jin accepts this drama then Scandal will be his latest project after the drama Thirty Nine in 2022. In the same year he also gave birth to his first child with Hyun Bin.
Ji Chang Wook himself will return to acting through a number of dramas, namely Twelve and Fabricated City. These two dramas will air in 2025. Scandal dramas are also projected to start filming in March 2025.
