JAKARTA - Minhwan FT ISLAND stopped all of his activities as a public figure after news revealed by his ex-wife, Yulhee ex LABOUM. The two divorced at the end of 2023 after five years of marriage.

After a long silence, Yulhee shared the latest video on her YouTube channel on October 24 yesterday. The video contains the reasons they divorced, which has not been revealed to the public.

In the video, Yulhee explains that the reason they divorced was Minhwan going to an adult entertainment venue. Yulhee also released a recording of Minhwan's conversation with someone who worked at the entertainment venue several times.

The footage starts in August 2022. In the footage, Minhwan repeatedly wants to go to adult entertainment venues and meet women.

"I can go having fun, yes, one hour or two hours.. What do you think? I can have fun until 7 o'clock because I have to go home," Minhwan said.

On a separate recording, Minhwan also went to entertainment venues secretly. He asked his friend who worked in that place to connect him with a woman.

FNC Entertainment as Minhwan's agency said, "While it was difficult for us to explain detailed information about the issue of marriage, Minhwan felt responsible for disappointing the public and the audience. He decided to end media activities including events where he and his children appeared."

"We apologize for the disappointment caused by many people," he said again.

The divorced Minhwan and Yulhee were blessed with three children. The custody of the three children was given to Minhwan and this had drawn controversy because Yulhee handed over the custody. At that time, Yulhee said her three children might fit into environmental conditions that could support them.
