Agency Opens Voice About Jeon Soyeon's Contract Status (G)I-DLE
JAKARTA - Cube Entertainment released a new statement regarding the exclusive contract status of Jeon Soyeon (G)I-DLE. This statement was released following their response two months ago regarding the rapper.
The members got a solo stage to perform alone, including their leader, Jeon Soyeon. But surprisingly, Jeon Soyeon appeared on a rap containing lyrics that their contract would expire in November this year.
Fans think the agency's statement is inconsistent because when Jeon Soyeon appears, a video as a background reads, 'The contract ends in November.' Fans question the agency's professionalism so that the writing can be a concept on its VP.
Initially, Cube Entertainment said the lyrics were only part of a performance at the concert and had nothing to do with the real situation. However, they released a statement that they confirmed Jeon Soyeon's exclusive contract would expire in November.
Friday, October 25, Cube Entertainment responded to the news that Jeon Soyeon did not renew her contract. Usually before the contract ends, an artist had already taken care of contract renewal a few months earlier.

"We are discussing a contract renewal with Jeon Soyeon," said Cube Entertainment.
"He will undergo activities in the future according to schedule," he said.
Last August, Jeon Soyeon made a response through her Instagram Story. He felt that the solo performance he made was his sincerity in music.
"I will do my part so that we can grow together, hopefully the discomfort you feel can change. I will work hard so that you don't worry, NEVERLAND (fan name (G)I-DLE). I always feel guilty, thank you, and love you," concluded Jeon Soyeon.
