AI Meme Coins Rise With A Market Cap Of IDR 29 Trillion, GOAT And TURBO Are Getting More Steady

JAKARTA - In recent weeks, artificial intelligence (AI)-supported meme coins have become a hot topic among the crypto community. Along with that, demand for AI-based solutions has also soared.

This situation boosted the market capitalization of AI-themed meme coins to US$1.9 billion (Rp29.45 trillion). The two tokens that dominate this trend are Goatseus totaling (GOAT) and Turbo (TURBO), which account for most of the trading volume in the AI meme coin market.

Based on data from CoinGecko, the market capitalization of AI meme coins rose significantly to USD 1.9 billion (IDR 29.45 trillion) with a daily trading volume of more than USD 590 million (IDR 9.14 trillion).

Of these achievements, GOAT and TURBO account for about 60% or about 360 million US dollars (Rp5.58 trillion) of the total daily trading volume. Meanwhile, most other AI meme coins still have relatively small trading volume, below $1 million per day.

The rapid increase in the price of GOAT and TURBO tokens cannot be separated from the increasing popularity of artificial intelligence. TURBO, for example, is a meme coin created by the OpenAI ChatGPT artificial intelligence platform.

Meanwhile, GOAT coins got promotions from Terminal of Truths' accounts that have actively marketed these coins in recent weeks. The combination of this trend of AI and meme coins has attracted the attention of the global crypto community.

Meanwhile, data from Kaito reveals that more than 60% of conversations in the crypto community throughout October were centered on AI topics and meme coins. Crypto investors Miles Deutscher assessed the great attention leading to this AI unprecedented.

In the midst of the controversy that had hit the Terminal of Truths' account regarding human error on the AI platform, the price of GOAT had dropped 50%. However, after clarification, the price of tokens rose again and reached a new record high at the level of 0.67 US dollars (Rp10,385) with a market capitalization of 668 million US dollars (Rp10.35 trillion).

This momentum was also driven by support from venture caption Marc Andreessen, who recently discussed the huge potential of AI-based meme coins. Andreessen even donated $50,000 (Rp775 million) to the Terminal of Truths account as part of his efforts to support the growth of AI meme coins such as GOAT.
