The Virgin Admits It Was Affected After Ahmad Dhani's Political Falls
JAKARTA - Ahmad Dhani's decision to enter politics has an impact on his music label, the Republic of Love Management (RCM). This was revealed by members of The Virgin, Mitha and Dara, who are under the auspices of the label.
"It was because of the political season, yes, so it's like the impact of Mas Dhani playing politics has an impact on us too. So the impact is really bad, not only us, his children also," said Mitha on YouTube Feni Rose, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
Mitha said that The Virgin had been banned and their gig schedule was canceled suddenly. They have also experienced unpleasant treatment from certain parties due to the impact of Ahmad Dhani's politics.
"We've had a gig that we wanted to be banned, then we wanted to do a gig. There was even one of the bosses at the time, so it's like the boss told us 'tell your boss, you need it'. It's like that," added Mitha.

However, the artists under the auspices of the RCM who experienced this did not open their voices to Ahmad Dhani. Luckily, the situation did not have a negative impact on The Virgin's income.
"He (Ahmad Dhani) didn't know his subordinates had experienced it. But at that time it was scary, political seasons," said Mitha.
"But thank God's finances," he continued.
Then Mitha also explained that currently things have improved and The Virgin has also been active for gigs. This is also related to Ahmad Dhani who is already a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission X, who is in charge of education, sports, science, and technology, with the Ministry of Culture.
"But now it's safe. So we're safe, it's a relief," concluded Mitha.
