Elementary School 4 Teacher Baito Supriyani Files Exception For Indictment Of Persecution Of Students Using A Sweep
JAKARTA - An honorary teacher at SDN 4 Baito, Supriyani underwent the first trial of the alleged abuse case against her students at the District Court (PN) Andoolo, Wonua Raya Village, South Konawe (South Konawe), Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra).
The Public Prosecutor (JPU) and the Head of the South Kalimantan District Attorney's Office (Kajari), Ujang Sutisna, accused Supriyani of allegedly committing violence against the child with the initials D at SDN 4 Baito, using the handle of a broom.
"As a result of the violence committed by the defendant resulted in the victim suffering bruises accompanied by abrasions on the right and left thighs," he said while reading the indictment at Supriyani's inaugural trial, Thursday, October 24, which was confiscated by Antara.
In response, Supriyani's attorney denied the indictment and filed an exception.
"We are submitting an exception," he said.
Meanwhile, Kendari District Court Chief Justice Helmy Rosano said that his party gave legal advisors time for their exception submission until Monday, October 28. "To give legal advisors (Supriyani) time until Monday, October 28, 2024, at 10.00 WITA," said▁putar Rosano.

"There are many irregularities filed in the indictment, today we filed an exception, objection, later we will submit it on Monday. One of the irregularities is that the defendant has never committed this act," he explained.
In line with that, Supriyani also admitted that she had never committed violence against victims at all as read out by the prosecutor in her indictment.
"Very sad (by the reading of the prosecutor's indictment)," said Supriyani.
Supriyani arrived at District Court Andoolo at around 09.30 WITA. He was accompanied by legal advisors and his fellow teachers who also supported Supriyani.
The trial then started at 10.00 WITA, Thursday, October 24.
