As A Witness, Civil Servants At The Semarang City Government Were Targeted By The KPK Regarding The Fee Collection Process
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) questioned six civil servants and a private sector as witnesses to alleged corruption at the Semarang City Government, Central Java on Wednesday, October 23 yesterday.
Investigators explore several things, including the issue of exporting fees related to projects that are implemented through direct appointment in the sub-district.
"The witnesses were all present and examined regarding the process of ratifying the Pungut Wage Decree and collecting fees in advance related to direct appointment work in the sub-district," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in her statement, Thursday, October 24.
Tessa said the witnesses summoned had the initials MI, ESR, SIP, MSDA, AH, DA, and S. Meanwhile, from the information obtained, they are the Head of the Semarang City Spatial Planning Service Mohamad Irwansyah, Endang Sri Rezeki as the Head of the Semarang City Sisdukcapil Civil Registration Service, and Satrio Imam Poetrato who is the former Head of the Legal Section of the Semarang City Secretariat.
Then there is also Marthen Stevanus Da Costa AP as Secretary of the Semarang City Satpol PP; Alif Hidayatullah and Dian Arianti as BPBJ Semarang City Secretariat; and Siswoyo who is the Director of CV Dua Putra or Deputy Secretary of the Semarang City Gapensi.
"The investigation was carried out at the Semarang Polrestabes," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.
In addition, the seven witnesses were also investigated about the project that was planned. However, Tessa has not detailed this matter.
"The projects obtained by the suspect are also explored from the private sector," said Tessa.
Previously reported, the KPK began investigating three alleged corruption crimes within the Semarang City Government (Pemkot). The details are the procurement of goods and services within the Semarang City Government in 2023-2024, the alleged extortion of civil servants related to incentives for collecting taxes and levies in the Semarang City area, as well as the alleged receipt of gratuities in 2023-2024.
Searches have been carried out in various locations such as in the cities of Semarang, Kudus, Salatiga, and others. From there, documents up to Rp1 billion and 9,650 euros were found as well as dozens of watches allegedly related to the case.

In this case, four people have been prevented from leaving the country for six months. They are Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu or Mbak Ita who is the Mayor of Semarang, Chairman of Commission D of the Central Java DPRD who is also the husband of Mbak Ita, Alwin Basri; Chairman of the Association of Indonesian National Construction Implementers (Gapensi) Semarang City, Martono; and Rahmat Djangkar who is a private party.
