LSI Survey: Jakmania Supports Pramono-Rano More Than RK-Suswono

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) released the results of the sigi regarding community support for the candidate pair for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta.

LSI also highlighted support from the basis of members and supporters of The Jakmania or Persija Jakarta supporters. Of the total respondents, 23.2 percent were Jakmania.

As a result, 50.5 percent of Jakmania supported Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, 33.2 percent chose Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, and 5.5 percent supported Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana.

"Who is the most supported by Jakmania? Among Jakmania members or supporters, it tends to support Pram-Rano more," said LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan, in a virtual survey presentation, Wednesday, October 23.

Meanwhile, on the basis of residents who are not members or supporters of Jakmania, Pramono-Rano's choice is 39.6 percent, RK-Suswono 38.9 percent, and Dharma-Kun 7.6 percent.

"So, we can conclude that Jakmania's support makes Pram-Rano tend to be superior now, although it is still thin or not significant," he said.

Overall, Pramono-Rano's electability was recorded at 41.6 percent, then Ridwan Kamil-Suswono at 37.4 percent, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana at 6.6 percent.

Djayadi explained, most likely the 2024 Pilkada will be held in two rounds. Given, there are still 14.4 percent of respondents who have not made a choice.

There is a possibility that Pramono-Rano will continue to rise and Ridwan-Suwono can go down. Or it could also rebound Ridwan-Suswono up, then the possibility of two rounds is very possible," explained Djayadi.

This survey was conducted on October 10-17, 2024. The survey was conducted on 1,200 respondents from Jakarta with face-to-face interviews. The sample was taken using the multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of 2.9 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
