Maliq & D Essentials Successfully Opening Tours In Makassar And Bali, Will Continue To Four Other Cities

JAKARTA - Maliq & D Essentials (MAD) has opened a series of album tours "Can Machines Fall In Love?" with a successful performance held in Makassar on October 18 and Bali on October 20.

Unlike the usual stage, Angga Puradiredja (vocals), Indah Wisnuwardhana (vocals), Lale (guitar), Ilman Ibrahim (keyboards), Java (bass), and Widi Puradiredja (drums) performed for two hours without pause.

Angga cs performed a total of 26 songs, with two encores of two songs at each point, "How to Kill" and The One in Makassar, and This is Kita and The One in Bali.

The show also features 22-year MAD travel records to the latest album, which is a favorite setting for viewers to take pictures.

Sets of stages in every city display decorations that are the embodiment of the Can Machines Fall In Love? itself, by combining red and blue colors like computer cable connections, that even human feelings cannot be replaced by machines.

The MAD show always begins with 'Intro' from a new album, which is followed by Repertoars 'Semesta' from the album Music Pop', as well as old songs Heaven and He from the album Free Your Mind.

In accordance with the theme of the tour, MAD brings the 6 tracks contained in the album 'Can Machines Fall In Love?', namely 'Tadow on Dada', 'Oh, 'Frankly Bright', 'Last Day', 'We Make Romantic', and 'This Is It'.

The audience also watched the premiere of MAD's third single music video starring Angga Yunanda and Shenina Cinnamon.

MAD did not appear alone, several supporting musicians involved were Kamga, Menuk, and Meilita who filled the backing vocals, Rejoz in percussion, Jordy on trumpets, and Ivan on synthesizer.

After the two shows, MAD will continue the album tour in Surabaya (October 25), Yogyakarta (November 29), Bandung (1 December), and Kuala Lumpur (December 29).
