Truck Driver In North Jakarta Arrested By Buser Who Disguised As Shopee Food Courier

JAKARTA After going viral on social media, members of the Penjaringan Metro Police arrested a man with the initials RS, the perpetrator of bullying a driver who often acts in the North Jakarta Penjaringan area. Based on information, the perpetrator was arrested by a member of a rush who was posing as a Shopee Food driver.

"The hospital was arrested on Tuesday (October 22) after the perpetrator and his partner carried out a burglary in Pejagalan," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Penjaringan Metro Police AKP Agung Dwipayana, Antara, Wednesday, October 23.

During interrogation, the perpetrator said that the burglary was carried out with his friend with the initials BL, who is currently still being sought by the police.

"From the hands of the perpetrators, officers secured evidence in the form of cash amounting to Rp. 9,000 and a black hat used when carrying out the action," he said.

He said the perpetrators and evidence were then taken to the Penjaringan Metro Police for further legal proceedings.

Previously, a viral video of the burglary carried out by the two perpetrators occurred on Thursday (17/10) at around 14.00 WIB, at the three-bridge red light.

In the video circulating, the two perpetrators can be seen intimidating passing motorists.

Then the North Jakarta Metro Penjaringan Police Resmob team led by the Head of Subunit AKP Muhaiyin Ikhsan secured one of the perpetrators in the Tiga Bridge area, Pejagalan Village.

According to him, this incident caught the public's attention and emphasized the Police's commitment to eradicating thuggery in the North Jakarta area.

"We urge the public to always be vigilant and careful on the road and if they see disturbances in the kamtibmas, they should immediately report to the nearest police station to maintain mutual security," he said.
