Regarding His Duties As Vice President And Free Lunch Program, Gibran Waits For Prabowo's Direction

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Gibran Rakabuming Raka admitted that he was still waiting for President Prabowo Subianto's direction regarding the division of tasks, including the free nutritious lunch program (MBG).

"After this, we will hear the Cabinet. We are waiting for directions from Mr. President Prabowo," said Gibran in North Jakarta, Wednesday, October 23, which was confiscated by Antara.

Furthermore, Gibran explained that the possibility of his task was still the same as the previous vice president, Ma'ruf Amin. However, he will still wait for directions from Prabowo.

Since being officially inaugurated on October 20, Gibran has been observed actively monitoring free nutritious lunch activities.

Today is Gibran's second time directly monitoring the trial of giving free nutritious lunch.

Meanwhile, yesterday, Gibran also monitored the construction of the Jakarta Phase 1B and Cibubur Youth Elite Sport Center (CYESC) LRT.

Gibran explained that as Vice President, he must play an active role in helping the President to enter the field.

"We are assistants to the President. We make sure of the existing development. What is clear is that we make sure that these locations, especially those with national strategic projects, can run well before being inaugurated by President Prabowo," said Gibran.
