Nidji's Personnel Response After Giring Ganesha Was Inaugurated As Deputy Minister Of Culture

JAKARTA - Giring Ganesha has been appointed Deputy Minister of Culture (Wamen) in the Red and White Cabinet led by President Prabowo Subianto.

The news also received a response from Nidji personnel, who were Giring's musical colleagues before deciding to switch from the world of music to practical politics.

Nidji keyboardist Randy Danistha responded through his X account. He said Giring's new position in government made the discourse of Nidji's reunion further away from fans' expectations.

"Makin jauh dari Reunion. Fufu Fiuh Fiuh," tulis Randy Danistha, mengutip X, Rabu, 23 Oktober.

Randy's statement seemed to confirm his rejection so far of some of Giring's statements that he wanted to appear for a reunion with Nidji.

Meanwhile, Nidji guitarist Ariel admitted that he did not really follow the news of Nidji who was inaugurated as Deputy Minister of Culture.

However, the guitarist is also happy because his former compatriot is carrying out his duties in government.

"I was so focused on the album so I heard it faintly, it's just that I'm happy," Ariel Nidji told the media crew.

The husband of Dhea Ananda also commented on the possibility of Nidji's reunion with Giring.

"Nidji, yes, Nidji now, I don't think there is a (reunion)," said Ariel.

"Nidji in this universe is the current one. Now Nidji doesn't have a reunion," he concluded.
