Two Indonesian Technicians Successfully Win The BMW Group Asia Technical Skills Competition 2024
JAKARTA - After going through a long phase since last February, the winner of the 2024 BMW Group Asia Technical Skills Competition has just been announced.
In this annual event, an Indonesian technician named Mardani, a representative of Mini Plaza Pondok Indah, won the competition, followed by Teguh Wahyudi from the same country from BMW Astra Surabaya, and Lim Wan Li from Singapore as representatives of the Motors Limited Performance dealer.
Of course, this is a proud achievement considering that this event was attended by 500 technicians across Asian countries, including Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Guam, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, New Caledonia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka,village, and Vietnam.
BMW Group Indonesia President Director Peter Medalla, said this is proof that his party always distributes reliable and best technicians in Asia who can also contribute to the sale of this brand in the country.
"The commitment of BMW and MINI technicians to the advantages ensures that our customers receive unmatched service and extraordinary experience, which boosts sales performance. Without the expertise and dedication of technicians, this achievement would not be possible," Medalla said in an official statement, Wednesday, October 23.

The competition begins with several qualifying stages according to BMW AG standards, twenty selected finalists enter the final stage and three winners are announced on the award night held at the BMW Group Training Center, BSD, Tangerang.
The three best technicians will have the opportunity to conduct Neue Classe Training in Munich, Germany in 2025.
Continuing the previous theme, this year's theme Outgrow Yourself with Ignite the Fire in You focuses on the spirit that drives innovation and excellence. This theme invites BMW and MINI technicians to continue pushing boundaries, facing challenges, and maximizing their potential.
BMW Group Asia Technical Skills Competition started in 2018 and started as a national competition for the BMW National Skills Competition (NASCE).
Now, the competition is a competitive event for the regional level that brings together many technicians from 14 different countries of BMW Group Asia.
