Dirty Ass Presents Four Reflective Songs At EP Manifes

JAKARTA - Trio directed punk from Tangerang, Dirty Ass greets Indonesian music lovers with the latest extended play (EP) or mini album with the title 'Manifes', which is worked on in collaboration with the record label demajors.

The band, which consists of Gerry L. Fauzi (guitar & vocals), Gilang Fresandy (bass), and Bayu Samudro (drums), presents four new songs, namely Membiru, Steal Repeated', Delusional Utopia', and Before Die.

The four songs are fast tracks with raw power and in-your-face that have been the hallmarks of Dirty Ass' work so far.

Through the track 'Blue', Dirty Ass tries to describe human struggle against lust.

This song reflects on the struggle against lust as a tough enemy to conquer. He always gave distraction and false offers until finally passing and passing," said Dirty Ass in his statement, Wednesday, October 23.

Meanwhile, Repeatedly' describes a cycle of existence that underlines the necessity of living with a repetition pattern to the end.

Di lagu Utopis Delusional, Dirty Ass mencoba menjadi reliah dengan cara mereka.

"This is a punk religious song, giving a point of view if we don't have to bet and just give up. And being good will be much more fun," said Dirty Ass.

While the fourth track 'Before Die' is a pledge to change life, which turns out to always change and uncertain to death.

EP Manifes became part of the continuation of Dirty Ass productivity after releasing EP Hance Yourself last year.

Which makes Manifes interesting, this time Dirty Ass is working with Leonardo Ringo who acts as a producer on audioata that provides a different experience from previous releases.

Leonard himself is known as a folk musician who joined the music groupUS and The Popo and Leonardo and His Impecable Six.

This collaboration gave birth to an interesting form in garage music standards that once existed in Indonesia, which may be said to be a form of new exploration.
