Often Experience Domestic Violence Is The Reason For Wife In Probolinggo To Kill Husband's Life

PROBOLINGGO - Supiani (46), the perpetrator of the murder of her husband Tomo (60), admitted that he was forced to kill his partner because he was often a victim of domestic violence (KDRT).

Supiani revealed that during a household relationship with the victim, he was often beaten even though his status was only limited to his wife. Not only that, if the victim was angry, he even often threatened to return to his first wife.

"That's what made me angry and then killed the victim while sleeping in the room," said Supiani after being secured by officers, Wednesday, October 23.

Supiani said that during his life with the victim, he rarely got together or had contact with the victim. The Probolinggo Police are currently still conducting intensive examinations of Supiani. The perpetrator is threatened with being charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code on Murder, with a penalty of up to 15 years in prison.

As previously reported, a wife in Kuripan District, Probolinggo Regency, East Java, killed her husband who was fast asleep using coffee growers, Tuesday (22/10/2024).

The perpetrator was Supriani (46). She had the heart to kill her husband Tomo (60) using a cup of coffee. The victim died at the scene due to severe head injuries.

The murder incident took place in Braholo Hamlet, Kedawung Village, Kuripan District. The Kuripan Police Team together with the Inafis Satreskrim Probolinggo Police immediately arrived at the location, to conduct a crime scene investigation (TKP) and ask for witness statements, including the perpetrators.
