Tiger Sport 800, Triumph's Latest Motor Model With Impressive Performance

JAKARTA - The Triumph Motorcycles officially launched its newest middleweight sport touring motorcycle, Tiger Sport 800. This model is positioned as a replacement for Tiger 850 Sport.

This motorbike is equipped with adjustable suspension components, such as a cartridge fork from Showa 41 mm with rebound adjustments and compressive subsidence.

Then, the back is supported by Showa Monoshock which provides an adjustment for reflection subsidence and 150 mm wheel travel, plus a long-distance hydraulic preload controller that allows motorization to be optimized easily when carrying baggage and passenger.

The brakes are supported by a radially installed four-brake calyper piston developed by manufacturers and a 310 mm twin front disk, paired with a single piston sliding timesper and a 255 mm disk behind, ensuring easy and progressive braking as well as extraordinary stopping.

The legs are equipped with light aluminum rims wrapped with Michelin Road 5 tires, giving the best grip so that they are reliable in various conditions.

The British manufacturer designed the bike ergonomically for motorists and rides, with comfortable seats and soft cushions.

The passenger seat is also equipped with an integrated handle to increase passenger safety. The height of the seating 835mm and the sleek stand-over width evoke confidence during low speed maneuvers and provide a convincing stable feeling when stopped.

The windshield is easily adapted to one-hand operation, and the wind deflector is integrated to increase the comfort of motorists at high speed. The fuel tank is 18.6 liters ensuring this bike is made for weekend touring.

Tiger Sport 800 is armed with a 800 cc 3-cylinder triple engine that can provide 115 ps of power boost and 84 Nm of torque. This is assisted by a six-speed gyrbox system powered by Triumph Shift Assist, helping it make its dental movement in a gentle and precise manner.

This motorbike has a number of driving modes that can be adjusted by motorists, such as Sport, Road, and Rain. This is also optimized with the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and Track Control to accommodate driving in various conditions.

Available in color options such as Saphire Black, Graphite, Cosmic Yellow, and Casbian Blue, Triumph Tiger Sport 800 is priced at 10,995 (IDR 222 million) and is available on the UK's regional dealer network in March 2025.
