Jokowi's fate after stepping down and the sharpness of the New York Time article
JAKARTA - Former Mayor of Solo 2005 - 2012, Jokowi is very good at playing his popularity and good image, in order to attract sympathy from the public. The impression that Joko Widodo always wanted to show was that he was a figure who was always'merakyat' as well as giving rise to his branding was different from the previous presidents.
He is a politician who is good at using the symbols of the little people for political purposes. He often dresses casually, rides motorbikes and uses local brands of outfits.
Seeing Jokowi's behavior in maintaining the image of the people's president, former Vice President Jusuf Kalla could not hold back his words. The man who is usually called JK once joked that Jokowi was the president who was the most diligent in meeting his people throughout the country.
Whether it's satirical or correct to praise, but the fact that Jokowi often travels around Indonesia to meet the people or inaugurate the project cannot be denied. And who can guess that the behavior of the seventh president actually creates the opposite. Some people feel cheated and think Jokowi is the president of lies and wrongdoing.
Six days before President Joko Widodo stepped down, several national figures gathered and discussed the preparations for the congress entitled Administrative Jokowi. The congress is planned to be held on October 18, 2024. The purpose of this congress is only one, Jokowi must be held accountable for his mistakes and if necessary, he must be imprisoned.

"This event is a preparation because on October 18, 2024, there will be the Jokowi Court Congress," said Rahma Sarita, starting a gathering event that was flooded with participants.
Mentioned the day before, apart from the national figures above, several legal experts have held meetings to formulate Jokowi's mistakes that will be brought to justice.

Former SOE Secretary Said Didu said he was optimistic that the current Prabowo Subianto administration could escape Jokowi's snares and traps. The man from South Sulawesi then read out the 26 demands along with evidence that Jokowi had been able to account for during his tenure as president.
No less than Said Didu, Amien Rais in his speech highlighted the occurrence of moral crimes during the 10 years of Jokowi's administration. "Jokowi alias Mulyono must be imprisoned, God willing," said the chairman of the Shura Council of the Ummat Party.
Politician from the Nasdem Party, Oegroseno also raised his voice by submitting the Fufufafa account case which Gibran Rakabuming Raka considered, it was not difficult to bring to police investigations. The three-star police retired appealed to the public to report legal offenses through the nearest police station.
President Talks Opposite
The nickname is considered appropriate for the seventh President Joko Widodo. The assessment was conveyed by a Constitutional Law Expert from Andalas University, Feri Amsari when asked to evaluate the 10 years of President Jokowi's leadership at the Talks of PKB Insight Hub, Indonesia's 2024 Government Transition in Kemang, South Jakarta.
"Jokowi is a PKB. That means the President has the opposite of his speech," said Feri, Saturday, October 19.
Feri said that Jokowi often showed the opposite of his initial words. For example, weakening the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to making his children politicians.
"What is the opposite, want to eradicate corruption, but what was damaged by the KPK first. Want to say that his son is not a politician, the fact is more politicians than politicians," he said.
At the beginning of his administration, Jokowi was known not to allow his children to enter the government. The reason is because he prefers to do business. Unfortunately, all of these statements were refuted by Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who is his eldest son, who is now the 14th vice president.
Sharp Notes Of The New York Times On Jokowi's Family Scandal
Scandal and showing off luxury using the private jet by Erina Gudono, the wife of Kaesang Pangareb, who is Jokowi's youngest son, became a gossip abroad. This is due to the prestigious media The New York Times which was published in 1851, on October 19, 2024, writing the title The Scandal of the Indonesian Leader's Son and the Private Jet.
The Times wrote that the behavior and show off the luxury of his youngest son and son-in-law was a'severe blow to the image of Everyman built by President Joko Widodo, who resigned on Sunday'. This media also wrote about the reason why Kaesang went on the private jet by riding because he belonged to a friend.
The Times highlighted and noted "When Kaesang and Erina are on their way to the United States, Joko's allies are trying to change the law to allow 29-year-old Kaesang to run for next month's regional elections that will elect governors, mayors, and other positions. Thousands of protesters took to the streets, some of which knocked down the gates of the DPR complex.
The House of Representatives canceled the move, but it was another blow to Jokowi's image that had been carefully formed as a humble politician. As the first Indonesian president who is not a general or from an elite political circle, Joko should be the difference between the past of a kleptocracy nation (in contrast to the dictator Suharto and his children, who embezzled billions of dollars during his 31 years of office).
Dan Times sangat menyayangkan dan mengkritik tajak Jokowi sebagai sosok yang suka memecah. "While Mr. Joko was a transformative leader who identified extreme property in Indonesia, he was also polarizing".
