F5 And NetApp Collaboration Accelerate Generative AI Adoption In Companies
JAKARTA - F5 and NetApp announced their collaboration to accelerate and simplify the application of large language models (LLM) through the integration of multicloud network solutions from F5 and data management from NetApp.
By integrating the multicloud network from the F5 and data management from NetApp, the company can implement the Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solution efficiently and safely, so that it can improve the performance, security, and uses of their AI system.
RAG is an artificial intelligence technique that incorporates a generation-based and search-based approach to improving the quality and relevance of responses by including documents or relevant information, which are often property rights, from large datasets into safely generated answers without exposing them to general language models.
This strong collaboration opens up RAG potential, combining company data with existing and growing AI models, said Kunal Anand, F5 Chief Technology and AI Officer.
Their solution is to use F5 Distributed Cloud Services and BlueXP NetApp to unify the operational model of data management, security and networks.
