Thom Yorke Asked About Radiohead Comeback: I Don't Care

JAKARTA - Thom Yorke gave a surprising answer when asked about Radiohead's return. He admitted that he didn't care about the many requests of fans out there.

Recently Thom became a resource person for Double J, Australian radio. He thought there was no need to consider the desire of others in determining his future career.

"I never realized it, and actually I didn't care," Thom said when asked about the possibility of Radiohead's return, quoted from NME, October 22.

Apart from Radiohead, Thom Yorke does have a number of other music projects. And for now, he feels that the band that owns the Creep hit is not his top priority in music.

"Without intending to offend anyone and eh, thank you for your attention. However, I think we have the right to do what makes sense for us without having to explain ourselves or be responsible to other people's historical ideas about what we should do," said Thom.

The statement is inversely proportional to Colin Greenwood's story, Radiohead bassist. Colin revealed last month their band was still training with a fun atmosphere.

"We did some training about two months ago in London, just to play old songs," he said. And it was so fun, we had fun together," concluded Colin.

Although it has not shown any signs for a comeback, fans at least know Radiohead is still solid internally. Just waiting for the time, when ready, they will come up with something interesting.
