Gray Matters Concept, Oscar Lawalata Shows All Black Clothing Collection At JFW 2025
JAKARTA - ASHA, founded by designer Oscar Lawalata, exhibited its fashion collection on the first day of Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2025 at Pondok Indah Mall, Jakarta on Monday, October 21, 2024. It has a mission to find new meaning and encourage restrictions on creativity in the fashion world by using a dominant black palette. Oscar wants to create a brand with a contemporary design, producing a texture and unique shape that makes bold statements in the fashion industry.
From the official statement received by VOI on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the mood offered in this collection is: contemporary, modern, brave, strong, elegant, and feminine. The collection which was displayed on October 21, 2024 at Jakarta Fashion Week 2025 entitled Anatomi.
In this collection, ASTA will present two views with black colors that also reflect Mazda's premium color, Jet Black Mica. Although this collection is dominated by black, each look will be equipped with a touch of color that symbolizes the spectrum of emotions and diverse life experiences, providing a brighter feel of life.
ASTA has its own way of bringing every element of design to life. In this collection, black dominates with the concept of "gray matters", while pop of colors are added to create visual dynamics.
