Joe Biden Risau Leaks US Intelligence On Israel's Retaliatory Attack On Iran

JAKARTA - President Joe Biden is concerned that US intelligence leaks are highly confidential about Israel's plans to attack Iran and will actively monitor the investigation.

"We are very concerned, and the president is deeply concerned about the leak of classified information into the public sphere. This should not have happened, and it should not be acceptable if that happens," said US national security spokesman John Kirby.

"You can rest assured that the president will actively monitor the progress of investigative efforts to find out how this happened, and of course the president will be very interested in listening to mitigation measures and recommendations resulting from these investigative efforts," he continued.

Kirby said it did not yet know how the document was released and the Department of Defense is still continuing its investigation.

Kirby also said that at this time they had no reason to believe similar documents would be released.

"Currently we have no indication that there is hope that additional documents like this could enter the public domain," he said.

Kirby also confirmed that the US had communicated with Israel about the disclosure, but did not provide any details regarding the conversation.
