Ministry Of Agriculture's Agricultural Training Center In Bogor Collapses

BOGOR - Tirta complex Class A Building, Center for Agricultural Management and Leadership Training (BBPMKP) located in Ciawi, Bogor Regency, West Java, collapsed.

The Head of Ciawi Police, Kompol Agus Hidayat, suspects that the collapse of one of the classrooms at BBPKMP was caused by the construction of a weathered building.

"It is suspected that the collapsed building was caused by an old building, the building horses were not strong enough to support it," Agus said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 21.

The incident occurred on Sunday (20/10) night, starting when one of the security officers saw that the building had collapsed.

Security officers reported the incident to their leadership at BBPMKP. The collapse of the building was finally reported to the Ciawi Police.

"The material loss is estimated at approximately Rp. 1,403,278,000," said Agus.

There were no casualties or injuries in this incident. The management will conduct a feasibility test on the construction of the building whether it is in accordance with the development SOP and continues to coordinate with the police.
