Appointed Again To Be Minister Of Energy And Mineral Resources, Bahlil: Ordinary Aja
JAKARTA - The 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, has again appointed Bahlil Lahadalia as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
When asked about his feelings after being re-inducted, Bahlil admitted that he was normal. The reason is, in the previous period Bahlil had served as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources since August 2024 replacing Arifin Tasrif.
"Usually yes! If the inauguration this time is for the Red and White Cabinet for the period 2024-2029," he said, Monday, October 21, 2024.
On the same occasion Bahlil also thanked Prabowo and Gibran for entrusting the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to him.
Despite returning to the position of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil admitted that there are still challenges that must be faced when he becomes Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.

"Of course this is a big challenge, because what President Prabowo hopes for with his various speeches including yesterday's first state speech at the MPR that one of the things that will be pushed is about energy sovereignty," continued Bahlil.
Moreover, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is at the forefront of executing the energy independence sovereignty policy launched by Prabowo.
"Then how about making regulatory policies. So earlier I just finished sharing with all officials at ESDM for how we can make it happen," said Bahlil.
