Mazda Introduces BT-50 Refreshment, Design Is Getting Tougher And Elegant

JAKARTA - Japanese automotive manufacturer Mazda officially launched a refresher on the BT-50 double-cabin pickup model for the Australian market. The model has a number of the latest elements ranging from design changes, more functional features, and the latest accessories for the 2025 model.

Launching from Mazda Australia's official website, Monday, October 21, BT-50 2025 has the same 'Kodo' design language as any other elegant model but still has a typical pickup toughness.

The front at first glance has similarities with the CX-5, which is a unique LED headlights with a newer front grip and bumper.

Mazda also presents a 'water curve' in its bumper to increase efficiency in aerodynamics and increase the use of fuel in everyday life.

Moving backward, the door has a jagged design and a new LED back light with a larger Mazda logo while emitting an identity that this is Mazda's vehicle.

Just like other Mazda models, the latest BT-50 has an exclusive rim design that emphasizes the strong impression, practicality, but remains luxurious on the side.

The interior is equipped with an infotainment system from the Human Machine Interface (HMI) and is presented in a responsive central touch screen interface that now integrates the touch button under the screen for better use and visibility.

The brand based in Hiroshima, Japan maintains physical fine-tuning on the dashboard in the form of an AC volume and button or sound adjacent to a 9-inch wide screen.

The dashboard was also added with Multi-Information Display (MID) which stretches up to 7 inches, providing connectivity for daily use with touchscreens as well as newer and more modern visuals.

The Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) feature is also presented and there are tilt steering steering arrangements, TPMS status, driving mode, and detailed images regarding dental movement on MID.

Under the hood, Mazda BT-50 maintains the same powertrain as before. Buyers can choose the 1.9 liter turbodiesel option that costs 148 dk and 3.0 liters of power 187 dk.

Both are offered with a transmission of six manual accelerations and six automatic accelerations combined with a rear wheel drive.

Further details on prices will be announced early next year, ahead of its launch to the market in the first quarter of 2025.
