While Crying, Angelina Sondakh Tells Me The Moment Mother Was Called Crazy Due To Dementia

JAKARTA - Celebrity Angelina Sondakh said that her mother, Sjul Kartini Dunolong, is a person with moderate levels of dementia. She said that her mother can now only remember certain moments of her life.

"The ministry that my mother remembered was only when she married my father, then my father died, and my sister died. In fact, my mother seems to have forgotten that I was in prison," said Angelina Sondakh in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Monday, October 21.

Not infrequently, her mother often forgets her figure who was even called'ma'am'. "(If the same) I sometimes remember, sometimes called Mbak too. 'Mbak, ma'am, ma'am, ma'am, hungry', that's it," he continued.

Angelina Sondakh admitted that at first she felt sad about her mother's condition. Moreover, there has been an incident where the mother was called crazy by other people because of her severe illness.

"So first, to be honest, it's sad, if, for example, I used to bring my mother out, then if I was in a restaurant or at a mall, my mother acted like that, right, then someone said, 'this seems crazy'. There's an angry feeling, "said Angelina Sondakh.

Seeing this, Angelina Sondakh tries to take her positive side that this incident is a form of God's love for her.

"But maybe if it's me, it means that I interpret Allah very well. So, I think this is a form of love from Allah, only we take care of him, we have to be patient," he explained.
