Porsche Launches The Latest 911 GT3, More Aggressive Than The Previous

JAKARTA - Porsche announced the launch of an iconic 911 GT3 model update. This German manufacturer offers two selected variants, namely GT3 and GT3 Touring.

Launching from the brand's official website, Monday, October 21, this car has a small refresher but has a number of adjustments that help performance, including finer chassis and additional personalization features.

The latest 911 GT3 model has more aerodynamic fronts and backs with a redesigned front diffuser and a modified fin at the bottom of the car body in order to increase downforce while optimizing aerodynamics.

The front light of the Matrix LED is also redesigned with white accents as optional, combining all 911 light functions and eliminating the need for additional lights on the front apron.

This allows the air entrance area to be enlarged and the display is clearly structured. On the back, diffusers, air entrances, and rear cover have been redesigned. The rear wing of 911 GT3 has a new angled side plate.

Brands also use trailing arm developed specifically in aerodynamic form, increasing downforce on wheel arches at high speed and increasing brake cooling.

To ensure the downforce balance between the front and rear doubles is maintained even when braking from high speed, engineers have reduced the pitching (antidive) in the suspension section.

Then, the latest 911 GT3 carries the 255/35 ZR 20 sports tire at the front and 315/30 ZR 21 behind which offers better clove power when it is wet.

Meanwhile, the Touring package offers sports and aggressive options such as a more elongated back spoiler, a gurney cover, and a fin design that enhances aerodynamics.

The interior appears more sporting with a lighter bucket seat with a chair shell made of CFRP as optional. Then, the chair is equipped with an integrated chest air bag, electrical altitude tuning, manual elongated tuning, and a three-stage seat heater is available as an option.

The Porsche 911 GT3 is equipped with a 4.0 liter boxer engine that provides the dynamics of driving. This can provide up to 510 ps of power coupled to the transmission of seven dual-clutch accelerations and six manual accelerations.

This allows 911 GT3 to run from 0 to 100 km/hour within 3.4 seconds and can travel at a top speed of 311 km/hour. Then for manual gyrboks, this model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in 3.9 seconds at a speed of 313 km/hour.

Porsche has not announced the prices for the 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Package models. However, it is certain that both can be booked by the end of the year.
