The Bodies Of Victims Of The SAM Air Plane Accident In Gorontalo Flown To Jakarta

GORONTALO - As many as three bodies of victims of the SAM Air plane crash were flown to Jakarta using Batik Air from Djalaluddin Airport, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province, Monday, October 21.

Head of Djalaluddin Airport Gorontalo Joko Harjani said that after arriving in Jakarta, the bodies would be taken to Tangerang and Kalimantan to be taken to the family.

"The plot with the co-pilot went to Jakarta, then the technician from Jakarta continued to Balikpapan, when Jakarta went to Tangerang. He used a Batik Air plane," Joko said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 21.

He said that before the body was dispatched, his party carried out a release procession which was also attended by the Acting Governor of Gorontalo, Djalaluddin Airport officers, the families of the victims, SAM Air, the Health Quarantine Center and the TNI and Polri.

Joko said that his party would continue to coordinate and communicate with the victims' families, starting from the evacuation process, bathing the bodies, transferring them from Bumi Panua Hospital to Bhayangkara Hospital.

"Communication continues to be established," he asserted.

On Sunday there was a SAM Air plane crash with registration number PK-SMH (DHC6) in the Marisa area, Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo Province.

The plane was piloted by M. Saefurubi A with co-pilot M. Arthur V. G and a technician, Budijanto. Apart from the crew, there is one passenger named Sri Meyke Male.
