Ridwan Kamil Prays For Prabowo-Gibran To Succeed In Bringing Indonesia Forward
JAKARTA The candidate for governor of DKI Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil, expressed his best prayers and hopes for Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who had just been inaugurated as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024-2029, Sunday 10 October. Ridwan Kamil hopes that both of them can be successful in leading and bringing Indonesia forward.
"Personally and the entire team congratulated Mr. Prabowo Subianto, our president, with Mas Gibran as vice president. We prayed smoothly and successfully brought Indonesia forward," said Ridwan Kamil during a visit to Anjungan Sarinah, Central Jakarta, on Sunday, October 20.
On this occasion, who is familiarly called Kang Emil emphasized his commitment to synergize with the central government, which is now led by Prabowo Subianto. "Hopefully, if our destiny is to win the election, there will be synergies with the central government. Of course, it will be an advantage for the citizens of Jakarta in particular," he continued.
During the last presidential election process, Kang Emil was trusted as the Head of the West Java Regional Winning Team (TPD) for the Prabowo-Gibran pair. In the Jakarta Pilkada contestation, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) was promoted as the number one pair (1) by the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus. The capital is expected to facilitate program coordination between the central government and local governments, if the RIDO pair wins the Jakarta regional election.
Ridwan Kamil also expressed his support for President Prabowo's invitation so that all elements of society can jointly build Indonesia, which is in line with the spirit of collaboration he echoes, namely Decentralization, Collaboration, and Innovation (DKI).
In addition, the RIDO pair's approach in building Jakarta by continuing and innovating previous governor's programs is also in line with Prabowo's steps to continue the policies of the previous presidents.
Kang Emil did not forget to thank Joko Widodo and KH Ma'ruf Amin for completing their assignment period. "Thank you to Pak Jokowi and Pak Ma'ruf Amin who have worked for the last five years, especially Pak Jokowi for ten years," he said.
As a former Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil admitted that he often interacted with Jokowi-Ma'ruf and witnessed the example in building Indonesia. "We pray that he will enjoy the next time to be calm and see the results of his hard work happily," concluded Kang Emil.
The DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) has named the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair number 1, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana number 2, and Pramono Anung-Rano Karno number 3 in the DKI Jakarta Pilkada.
