Solo Ngarsopuro Market Traders Raup Rejeki Selling Accessories Jokowi
SOLO A number of traders at Ngarsopuro Market, Solo, Central Java, managed to reap fortune by selling various accessories and merchandise themed by the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Ambar, one of the traders, revealed that many buyers were looking for merchandise with Jokowi's picture. He has even prepared two kodi t-shirts and shirts to meet high demand. "Last night I sold it at Ngarsopuro, today I sold it on the side of the road. It turns out that there are still many enthusiasts," he said.
The price of merchandise offered is quite affordable. For T-shirts, shirts, and hats, Ambar sells it for IDR 15,000, while jackets are valued at IDR 25,000.

The chairman of the Ngarsopuro Night Market Traders Association, Engkur Kurniadi, said that traders had started selling the merchandise since Saturday, October 19 afternoon.
"Of the dozens of booths lined up along Jalan Diponegoro, there are eleven booths that sell Jokowi's hat, shirt, shirt, and jackets that read Jokowi's Vision of Action," he said.
Several buyers even deliberately bought t-shirts and jackets to wear when welcoming Jokowi's return to Solo. Until 16.00 WIB on Sunday, October 20, thousands of people had prepared to welcome Jokowi near the President's residence in Sumber Village, Banjarsari District, Solo City.
