Congratulations! Prabowo-Gibran Officially Inaugurated As President And Vice President Of The Republic Of Indonesia
JAKARTA - Prabowo Subianto was officially inaugurated as the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia with Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the 14th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.
Prabowo-Gibran was inaugurated at the MPR RI plenary session at the Nusantara Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday, October 20.
This plenary session was chaired by the Chairman of the MPR RI Ahmad Muzani with the attendance of members of the DPR and DPD RI as well as invited guests and state guests.
"Today we can hold a plenary session of the MPR with the single agenda of the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, the term of office of 2024-2029," he said.
The plenary session of the presidential inauguration today was attended by 709 MPR members from 731 MPR RI members.
Muzani then summoned the President and the elected Vice President for swearing. Prabowo and Gibran were then sworn in with the guidance of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (MA) and clergy.
"Bismillahirrohmanirrohim, by Allah I swear, will fulfill the obligations of the President of the Republic of Indonesia as well as possible and fairly uphold the Constitution, and nominate all laws and regulations, in as straight a way as possible, and serve the homeland and nation," said Prabowo.
After Prabowo vowed as President of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran also took the oath as Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.

After taking the oath, Prabowo and Gibran then signed the minutes of the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia. The chairman of the MPR continued to hand over the minutes to the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.
