Support The People's Party For The Inauguration Of The President And Vice President, The Jabodebek LRT Is A Rate Of IDR 1
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI has implemented a special tariff of IDR 1 for all Jabodebek LRT trips in order to support the implementation of the Inauguration People's Party of the President and Vice President on October 20.
The Manager of Public Relations of the Jabodebek LRT Mahendro Trang Bawono conveyed that PT Kereta Api Indonesia through the Jabodebek LRT service has prepared various steps to ensure the smooth running of public transportation.
KAI seeks to provide easy access for people who want to participate in the event.
"As support for the government and public appreciation, KAI applies a special tariff of Rp1 for all Jabodebek LRT leasing on the day of inauguration," he said in an official statement, Saturday, October 19.
Mahendro said that to use this service, there is a minimum balance requirement for users of Multi Trip Cards (KMT) and Electronic Money Cards (KUE) of IDR 1,000 and a minimum balance of LinkAja of IDR 20,000.
"It should be noted that every KMT and KUE card can only be used by one user," said Mahendro.
KAI appealed to the public to use the KUE or KMT to speed up the payment process and reduce waiting times at the station entrance.
Mahendro said this payment method helps reduce density and provides efficiency in the middle of user volume which is predicted to increase significantly.
"To deal with the potential for a surge in users, KAI will also increase the number of Jabodebek LRT trips from 260 to 364 trips on October 20. This step was taken to maintain the comfort and smooth running of community mobility," he said.
