The Prabowo-Megawati Meeting Plan Is Confirmed To Be Canceled Before The Inauguration, This Is The Reason

JAKARTA - The plan to meet former President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri with Elected President Prabowo Subianto before the inauguration, Sunday, October 20, was canceled.

The issue of cancellation was directly revealed by the Secretary General of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani.

"It seems like that (the batal, ed.). Until the inauguration ceremony, the meeting was still delayed," said Muzani at the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, October 19.

According to Muzani, the meeting could not be held because Megawati's condition was not healthy.

"We pray that you will recover your health soon, and can immediately carry out your activities well again," he said.

Meanwhile, he said that there would be a time when meetings with Megawati could materialize. However, he said that Prabowo would arrange the meeting.

Previously, the Chairperson of the PDI-P DPP, Puan Maharani, emphasized that the meeting between PDIP General Chair Megawati and Gerindra Prabowo would take place.

"God willing, as soon as possible, God willing," said Puan while in front of Megawati's house in the Kartanegara IX area, Menteng, Central Jakarta Wednesday (16/10).

Puan did not say exactly when the meeting would take place. He immediately left the media crew who were already waiting in front of Megawati's house.
