Sinemini Love In A Falling Way Offers New Way To Enjoy Cinema In Vertical Format

JAKARTA - Sinemini with the title Love in a Falling Way was introduced by Karya Karsa as a form of audio visual entertainment in a vertical format that can be enjoyed in Central Java.

The term Sinemini is taken from a combination of sinema and mini, which is intended as entertainment at affordable costs, and can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere.

Love in a Falling Way as the initial title presented is an adaptation of the reading series entitled Divorced with Benefits by Citra Novy.

"This story was chosen because it won a lot of support at Karya Karsa. In addition, the story itself is very close to our daily lives, so people will definitely relate and get emotional," said Pribadi Prananta alias Pipu, co-founder of Karya Karsa, at Pejaten, South Jakarta, Thursday, October 17.

"With the change of Divorced with Benefits to Love in a Falling Way," Citra Novy wrote as a series of audio visuals which was divided into 30 episodes.

Each episode is very short, about one and a half minutes long. That way, the dish becomes very light, just like seeing video content on social media through a device. It is likened to a snack in the form of sachets or tiles.

This synemini model is felt to be able to help many storytellers to introduce their work to a wider market.

"It's really excited, because we have something different. Hopefully we can make this a new trend," said Pipu.

"So, people have many choices, want to read the story can, want to watch the film too," he added.

Meanwhile, the synemini Love in a Falling Way tells the story of Gista Syaril who feels that his life is already at a dream point, by becoming an independent woman, busy, established, and great, according to the checklist that has always been behind his small notes.

For him, the highest achievement he has made in life is to divorce Kalil Sankara, a wealthy man who is possessive and manipulative, as well as a prisoner who loves him like a madman.
