Ahead Of Purarnatugas, Jokowi Schedules Lunch With The Advanced Indonesia Cabinet

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo held a joint lunch with cabinet ministers at the State Palace, Jakarta, Friday, October 18 before ending his term as President of the Republic of Indonesia on October 20, 2024.

"He plans to have a meal with the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet 2019-2024 today, which will be held at 13.00 WIB later at the State Palace," said Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 18.

Ari said the lunch meeting would be Jokowi's last meeting with his cabinet ministers before President Joko Widodo retired.

"So it's kind of the last meeting between the President and cabinet members, and it's done more relaxed through lunch together," he explained.

He further conveyed that President Joko Widodo, on Friday today, will continue to work towards the end of his term of office on October 20, 2024.

According to him, receiving several guests is related to efforts to encourage the transition process in the government, including the sustainability of priority programs whose foundation has been built by President Joko Widodo.
