Ma'ruf Amin: I Work As It Is, Don't Want To Be Overestimated, Not Dipoles-poles

JAKARTA - Ma'ruf Amin emphasized that as a vice president (Vice President) he works as he is and does not want to be exaggerated.

"I don't want to be exaggerated, as it is, I don't need to be polished-poles, it's not necessary. As is," said the Vice President giving a speech during the Vice President's friendship with Wury Ma'ruf Amin with the extended family of the Vice Presidential Secretariat (Setwapres) at the Vice Presidential Palace Auditorium, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 17.

The vice president emphasized that he is not a person who likes imaging and does not need to make lies at work.

"If people say it must be personalized branding, I don't think it's necessary, for me as it is, it's better. If religious language doesn't need to make lies. Nothing is more wrong than something that makes lies to Allah, So there is no need," he said.

On that occasion, the Vice President also expressed his gratitude and apologies to all Setwapres employees.

"I think once again I would like to express my gratitude and apologize if there are many things that I cannot provide in my best leadership, limited according to the abilities God has given me, that's what I can do," said the Vice President.

Previously, Ma'ruf said he would again manage Islamic boarding schools and build the National Awakening Party (PKB) after completing his duties as Vice President.

"I will first return to my habitat, Islamic boarding school," said the Vice President giving a press statement after attending a Doctoral promotional session for the Study of Stratejik and Global Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia at the University of Indonesia (UI), Depok, West Java, Wednesday (16/10).

Furthermore, the Vice President, who is also the Chairman of the PKB Syuro Council, said that he would focus on building the party in the future.

"Secondly, there is my new task, I am the Chairman of the PKB Syuro Council. So, I am how to build the PKB party in the future," he said.
