Andika-Hendi Legal Team Questions Central Java Bawaslu On Handling ASN Violations

JAKARTA - The legal team for the candidate pair for governor-deputy governor of Central Java (Central Java), Andika Perkasa-Hendrar Prihadi (Hendi), asked about the development of various cases of alleged election violations handled by Central Java Bawaslu.

The Coordinator of the Law Team for the Andika-Hendi Pair, John Richard Latuhamalo, said there were around 15 to 20 cases of alleged election violations involving ASN in various regions in this province.

"Including one alleged violation of the village head reported by the PDIP DPP to Bawaslu," he said while visiting the Central Java Bawaslu in Semarang, Thursday, October 17, was confiscated by Antara.

According to him, Andika-Hendi's legal team also questioned the progress of handling these various cases.

He considered that the violations committed by ASN were shown in real terms.

Against the various alleged violations of the elections, he asked Bawaslu to be upright in resolving and uncovering them to the person who mobilized them.

The results of the meeting with the Central Java Bawaslu, he said, will be followed up with further legal remedies.

"It is possible that we will file a lawsuit against the law, including against Bawaslu," he added.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Central Java Bawaslu Muhammad Amin said that the handling of alleged regional elections violations had in principle been carried out in accordance with procedures.

Regarding the PDIP DPP report on alleged violations of the neutrality of village heads in Sukoharjo Regency, it has been followed up.

"It has been followed up, recommendations related to the neutrality of the village head have been forwarded to the regent," he said.
