Nusron Wahid: Prospective Minister Diwanti Prabowo Don't Let The State Budget Leak

JAKARTA - Golkar Party politician Nusron Wahid said the elected president Prabowo Subianto warned his ranks of ministerial candidates to secure state assets and prevent the state budget from leaking.

While providing briefing at Prabowo's private residence in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, Wednesday, October 16, Nusron explained that Prabowo also reminded his ranks of ministerial candidates to be frugal when using the state budget.

"The briefing will be done later if you are appointed to a good job, continue not to be corrupt. You have to help save the costs of the state budget. Don't let the state budget leak," said Nusron as quoted by ANTARA.

Nusron, who was met when he was about to leave the Prabowo residence complex in Hambalang, continued that the elected president also advised his ministerial candidates to protect state assets ranging from forests, land, seas.

"Don't let foreigners take it, take it by irresponsible people," said Nusron.

At the same location, the ministerial candidate who was also present, Meutya Hafid, said that during the briefing, the elected president asked them to work quickly and be able to cooperate in the team.

"(Prebowo's important message, ed) work fast, work well together. The challenges ahead are tough, for that we all have to move quickly," said Meutya.

Then, Muhaimin Iskandar, the general chairman of the PKB, who also attended the briefing event in Hambalang said the event was preparation to form a government cabinet in the future.
