South Kalimantan Provincial Government Temporarily Stops KPK OTT-Involved Projects
BANJARMASIN - The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan Provincial Government) has temporarily suspended a number of physical development projects involved in the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Hand Arrest Operation (OTT) case allegedly involving Governor Sahbirin Noor or Uncle Birin.
"Except for other projects that are still running according to the contract, but we are still consulting so that we don't make the wrong steps," said South Kalimantan Provincial Secretary (Sekda) Roy Rizali Anwar in Banjarmasin, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 16.
Roy hopes that the South Kalimantan Provincial Government will immediately receive the KPK's answer or response to the consultation on the continuation of the physical development project with the status of the quo, so that the project can be completed.
The KPK previously conducted OTT on a number of South Kalimantan Provincial Government officials regarding the bribery of a number of physical development projects carried out by the South Kalimantan Provincial Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office.
Projects that are the object of the case include the construction of a soccer field in the Integrated Sports Area of South Kalimantan Province worth IDR 23 billion.
The construction of the Integrated Samsat building is worth IDR 22 billion, and the construction of a swimming pool in the Integrated Sports Area of South Kalimantan Province with a value of IDR 9 billion.

In addition, officials from the PUPR Office of South Kalimantan Province are suspected of engineering the project auction by leaking their own estimated prices and company qualifications required at the auction.
Then, engineer the e-catalog selection process so that only certain companies can make offers, appoint consultants affiliated with bribe givers, and work has been carried out before signing the contract.
Regarding the case, the KPK named a suspect against the Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor, the Head of the PUPR Office of South Kalimantan Province Ahmad Solhan (SOL) and the Head of Cipta Karya of the PUPR Office of South Kalimantan Province Yulianti Erlynah (YUL).
In addition, investigators also named the suspect to the Treasurer of the Tahfidz Darussalam Ahmad (AMD) House, Acting Head of Household for the Governor of South Kalimantan Agustya Febry Andrean (FEB). as well as two other suspects from the private sector, namely Sugeng Wahyudi (YUD) and Andi Susanto (AND).
