Ma'ruf Amin Will Manage Islamic Boarding Schools And Build PKB After Retirement
JAKARTA - Ma'ruf Amin will again take care of Islamic boarding schools and build the National Awakening Party (PKB) after serving as vice president.
"I will first return to my habitat, Islamic boarding school," said the Vice President as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 16.
Furthermore, the Vice President, who is also the Chairman of the PKB Syuro Council, said that he would focus on building the party in the future.
"Secondly, there is my new task, I am the Chairman of the PKB Syuro Council. So, I am how to build the PKB party in the future," said the Vice President.
Previously, Ma'ruf Amin emphasized that he would still serve and contribute to the nation and state even though he would no longer be Vice President.
"I just have to calculate the daywabillahi taufic wal hidayah as vice president, but service must not stop, service must continue, basically without stopping," said Vice President Ma'ruf Amin in his remarks at the laying of the first stone for the construction of mosques and Islamic boarding schools in Rawagede, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java, Sunday (13/10).
