Couple Who Died In Denpasar House Positive For Drugs
DENPASAR - Bali Regional Police said the husband and wife of Anak Agung Ketut Nengah Agung Setyawan who was found dead with his wife in a room on Jalan Kebo Iwa, Padangsambian Kaja Village, West Denpasar (23/9) tested positive for drugs.
"At the scene of the incident, we found drugs. And the results of the hair tests both of them were also positive for drug containing," said Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, Wednesday, October 16.
However, Jansen has not been able to confirm what types of drugs the couple consumes.
"As for the type of drug, I will check again so that I don't get it wrong," he said.
The cause of death of the two victims was also strongly suspected to have been the result of taking the drugs, causing a fight or suicide, because the bodies of the two victims were found in the room with the room door locked from the inside.
"There was no one else in the room because it was locked from the inside. It could be that the effect of the drugs was then an argument and then committing murder and suicide," he said.

It's just that, he said, whoever was the perpetrator of the murder was not known for sure because only the two couples were in the room. Therefore, the results of the Bali Police investigation concluded that one person who killed then committed suicide.
"Most likely he (Gung Balang) who killed his wife then committed suicide. It is unlikely that his wife who killed him later committed suicide. But we don't know for sure," he said.
Previously, the Bali Police stated that the bodies of the two victims were first found by their biological children, after forcibly opening the doors of their parents' rooms.
From the results of the medical examination, on the bodies of the two victims there were a number of open wounds as a result of being hit by sharp weapons.
