"More than one kilogram of kokain, along with a mobile phone, and a motorcycle were immediately secured as evidence. Both were taken to the Langsa Police for further investigation," he said.
Based on the results of the examination of the Supreme Court and the Navy, the narcotics are planned to be circulated in Langsa City after previously being distributed from Lhokseumawe.
"From the confession of the two, cocaine was obtained from a person with the initials SL who is now on the list of disbursements of people or DPOs. This is evidence that drug networks continue to try to infiltrate the jurisdiction of the Langsa Police," said the Police Chief.
The two perpetrators are suspected of violating Article 114 Paragraph (2), Article 112 Paragraph (2), and Article 132 of Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning narcotics. The maximum penalty is life imprisonment or the death penalty.
