Jokowi Takes A Commercial Plane To Return Home To Solo Sunday, October 20 Afternoon

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will board a commercial plane on his return agenda to Surakarta, Central Java, after his retirement.

The news was conveyed by the Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi.

"That's right. Riding a commercial plane from Halim," said Budi Arie via text message reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 16.

Jokowi took the plan to return to Solo via Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta, Budi Arie said, on October 20, 2024 at 15.00 WIB.

When asked about the type of commercial airline Jokowi will use, Budi Arie said that Citilink or Garuda airlines.

"If I'm not mistaken, Citilink or Garuda," he said.

As previously reported, Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Pratikno said the Presidential Palace had prepared commercial plane tickets for Jokowi after the inauguration agenda of Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024 '2029 period.

The Minister of State Secretary said this when responding to Jokowi's request, who said he would immediately fly to Solo on Sunday (20/10) afternoon.

Pratikno also said that Jokowi would still get security for the Paspampres even though he was no longer President.
